Mid/late fall
So, I risk being rebuked

I don’t want to be spooked
With the usable evening light fleeting
Let’s go riding
Not trick or treating
I won’t be carving a pumpkin
But, please, feel free to jump in
I won’t be wearing a costume
I’ll be riding my bike
Not your mom’s broom
Nor, (despite what you’d like)
See a ghoul’s tomb
Holding breath as we pass by a cemetery
Will be totally unnecessary
We’ll be starting our jaunt
From our favorite haunt
AOC trailhead
