Snow's melted, and it's dried out enough to venture out on the trails and prep them for opening day, so please come join us and other volunteers. We’ll meet at the Ski Side Parking Lot (150 Ski Tow Road) at 8:30, get assignments and then fan out from there (some heading to the Town Forest parking lot) , returning about noon for some lunch. The primary task is to pick sticks, pull downed branches, then leaf blow the trails so that they can dry out (and be found). We will also note the location of downed trees that will need later chainsawing. If you have a leaf blower, please bring it, but we will have a few. Other tools - leaf rakes and loppers may come in handy. Water, snack and work gloves are a must. See you then.
